My New Mortgage Term Has Come Into Effect
[ Monday December 3rd 2018 at 11:17 pm ]

I've been very thankful to be able to over pay my mortgage using some of the inheritance funds I've received in 2018. I am much further ahead. With this in mind I decided to lower my mortgage payments in my new mortgage term starting today.

I have access to a unique program offered by the Government of Canada. It is a registered retirement plan for those who severe disabilities. The name of this is "Registered Disability Savings Plan". The Government of Canada acts as an employer matching contributions I make. As well there is an annual bond grant of $1,000 for those classified as low income. I am planning ahead so I may manage my physical needs while I am in my elderly years. Much of the coverage I have now ends when I am 65 years old. I want to be able to take care of myself and have the best quality of life possible.

There are times when this lifestyle can be frustrating. I am able to only do a fraction of what I use to be able to do. I am having to focus on what it is I can do and not the long list of tasks that are no longer possible. I am planning ahead for my senior years so I am able to engage in what I find rewarding and enjoyable. Certainly this web site and my youTube channel are 2 of these items I've come to really enjoy. I would not have otherwise been able to do them if I hadn't had the set of physical challenges come to affect me. Effectively I am trying to make the best out of what I have to work with in life.
