Expanding Foam Insulation To Stop A Draft
[ Saturday November 24th 2018 at 9:24 am ]

Earlier in the week I felt a draft in the framing of a door. Expanding foam does an amazing job of addressing this. I've just filled this in. I can already feel the room being warmer. This means saving money on heating. I am really pleased. I try to be a good steward with what the Lord Jesus has entrusted to me. Certainly keeping my home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer for less money will help my quality of life and cost of living as I pursue self employment.

There is a short term down side to this. I can feel my physical disability having flared up by the small amount of bending to do this. It is a trade off to be had. My family doctor has encouraged me to do what I find rewarding and use what pain medication necessary to accommodate this. I am not reckless. The sense of achievement is really important when you live with a physical disability and chronic pain. I am able to justify the rest I'll need today and tomorrow to recover from doing this.
