An Appointment With My Family Doctor

I've had a really positive appointment with my family doctor. Also my family doctor and I connected in a special way during this appointment. Officially the appointment was for managing my chronic pain. I was also due for a tetanus immunization. We took care of this today. The reasons for the appointment were accomplished.
Today he asked me what some of my goals for my life are. I was able to share with him a summary if what I've been planning for. Then I explained the beginning stages of this process. My family doctor was concerned I might draw into myself. He was really glad to know what I am aiming for. It was really nice seeing him smile with the concern he's had over the recovery not progressing as was expected.
