Ordered A Mobility Scooter And Mobility Scooter Trailer

I've placed my order for a mobility scooter and mobility scooter trailer. There has been a lot of leg work to get this far:

  • I reached out to "Canada Border Service Agency" to inquire the duty and import charges for this purchase.
  • I researched for a mobility scooter that has a much better suspension system than my wheelchair. I need the smoother ride. I can't take the pain the jostling is causing me.
  • I've found a mobility scooter trailer. This is going to make grocery shopping and so many other tasks significantly easier for me. This is the equivalent of adding a vehicle trunk to the mobility scooter.
  • For my own safety I've researched and purchased LED lighting for the mobility scooter trailer. On account of living with chronic pain and broken sleep I need to be able to do my chores when my body is ready. With the 4 distinct Canadian seasons the hours of sunshine change throughout the year.

I'll continue to think what I need in practical terms for the mobility scooter and mobility scooter trailer to serve me well. I am not looking for bling. I know I won't be able to afford a vehicle and the costs associated with this for several years. I want the mobility scooter to have the practical functionality for predictable maintenance, rust proofing and be suitable strong so the frame won't tweak. Overall I am enjoying this process. It is a lot of work. I tend to find this rewarding.
