Hip And Knee Physiotherapy Equipment Has Been Delivered
[ Monday May 7th 2018 at 1:53 pm ]

As part of my medical appointment on May 3rd 2018 I agreed to purchase a specialized piece of hip and knee physiotherapy equipment. This seems to be the appropriate follow up to the injection.

The troubles with my right knee joint won't be dealt with following this single injection. Some of the cartilage in my right knee joint has thinned. The best possible outcome for this will be a stem cell transplant in the hopes the tissues will regrow and the rough edge knit itself together.

The long and short of it is the injection gives something to focus on when the past 3 years of physiotherapy has been anything but successful. I need the injection to be successful to consider a stem cell transplant. It isn't worth proceeding with a stem cell transplant if my entire knee isn't going to be fine. Blankets pushing into my knee cap causes me pain and broken sleep. If this works I will experience some improvement in my quality of life.
