Booked The Hotel Stay Prior To Surgery

I have now arranged the hotel stay for the 2 nights before my left knee replacement surgery. I need to spend the night before surgery in a hotel. This is because of the travel involved to the hospital my surgeon belongs to. The reason for the second night is to give my pain a fighting chance of getting under control before I have my surgery. Otherwise the pain is like a dog chasing it's tail. Trying to get pain under control once it is out of control is incredibly challenging.
