Scanned And Mailed My 2023, 2024 And 2025 Income Tax Returns

Yesterday evening I completed my 2023, 2024 and 2025 income tax returns. I have now scanned them so I can keep a copy for myself. Then I set out on an adventure to deliver them to Canada Revenue Agency.
My first attempt to deliver my completed income tax returns was to use a drop box at the federal building in the city where I live. This had a sign up advising there was a sign up at the after hours drop box. The building is being repurposed. A sign was posted that the drop box was taken out of service on May 29th 2026.
Instead I went to a business in the downtown that has a Canada Post counter. They are unexpectedly closed today. Instead I went to the Canada Post counter that closes at 2 PM and shipped my income tax returns using tracking to Canada Revenue Agency. This will be delivered on Thursday. Then it is out of my hair. I expect this will be processed in 8 to 12 weeks.
The income reporting slips sent to me by disability benefits I receive have been collecting on my desk since early 2024 when the 2023 slips were issued. I am glad this is done. I am trying to get my life situated for me to undergo surgery to replace my other knee joint. Filing my outstanding income tax returns needed to done before my next surgery.
