Encouragement While Using The Warm Water Therapy Pool

During part of the family swim a kids soccer camp uses the pool as they wind down for the day. Every few days the kids have asked me question about my physical disability such as:
- What is the mark on my leg (referring to my knee replacement surgery incision)?
- Why do I need a wheelchair?
- Why do I walk weird?
While in the warm water therapy pool I keep returning their ball when the children hit or throw it a bit too far and it lands in front of me.
Just now one of the children near me said they refer to me as "that nice guy". It must mean the children appreciate me returning their ball and not making a big deal out of getting splashed when they are playing with each other. This made me feel really great. Every few days something happens that helps keep me encouraged as I work towards convincing my right knee joint that it wants to heal from being replaced.
