Put On Blood Pressure Medication

I had a doctor appointment this morning. It was about my blood pressure. The doctor prescribed blood pressure medication to bring it down. I am sure this is best for me. I am not entirely convinced it is needed in the long term and that my blood pressure will end up running low after I've healed from this surgery. But I have to have at least 2 more operations in the near future. It is best not to make surgery any more hard on my body than is necessary. My hair is going grey over the surgery I just had.
I don't want to stress my heart. Grandpa Piggott died from a heart attack when he was about 10 years older than me. I have been having all these surgeries to fix my body so I can enjoy life. I am hoping this makes the difference. I am suppose to start monitoring my blood pressure in 2 weeks and make a follow up appointment in a month with my family doctor.
