I Have Another Hamster For A House Mate

I have a hamster for a house mate now. My hamster is extremely stressed.
- He was hissing at the pet store staff out of pure fear when they were moving him into a box to bring to my home. This is the step before the hamster start biting to defend itself.
- When I got him into his home he went to the corner and just froze. This is what an emotionally flooded hamster doesn't when it can't cope. I got him out of this.
Now my hamster has had a quick explore. Then he dug a hole and is sleeping. I need to give him a few days before I try to pick him up. I need to start feeling safe first.
