My Post Surgery Pain Has Gone Wild

The operation I had on November 26th 2025 was a revision surgery. My artificial hip was replaced. The recovery from a revision surgery breaks all the rules. It isn't a linear recovery. The recovery goes in waves. At the moment my pain has gone backwards. I think I woke up 18 times during the night. I am going to need to spend today resting. I am not upset by this. My surgeon explained this happens with revision surgeries. I don't think my body is warning me. I think I need to just grin and bear it for a few days.
