Arranging Post Surgery Physiotherapy

What I am hoping out of both of my hip revision surgeries this year is the ability to sit, stand and lay down without pain, some quad muscle strengthening and to get back to the same mobility I presently have. What I am presently able to do is walking about 50 feet, climbing a flight of stairs and standing for 90 seconds. My knee joints will prevent me from making a full recovery. I'm presently waiting for exploratory surgery to identify what is wrong with my right knee. But there is no way of avoiding the "elephant in the room". My artificial hips both needed to be replaced before the treatment for my knees can happen. My knee joints are a high priority. But my artificial hips are critical. The outpatient physiotherapy unit has just called to arrange a physiotherapy clinic for me to attend in the city I live once my right artificial hip has been replaced and I am released from hospital. I am glad the ball is rolling. I love life. I hope the surgery will help me do more with my life.
