Submitted The Travel Expenses For My Presurgery Screening And My Right Hip Revision Surgery Travel
[ Tuesday November 11th 2025 at 6:53 pm ]

I've had a short break from the unrelenting pain my right artificial hip has been causing me. I was able to do one of my chores today. I put together the receipts for the travel expenses for my presurgery screening appointment and the surgery itself. These are eligible for reimbursement from my disability benefits.

I still need to do my medical travel expenses from July to October 2025 and my income tax returns from 2023 and 2024. The pain has been unrelenting since my artificial hips started to fail in December 2023. The pain has been using up all my energy. In constrast it was a nice break today and really nice getting something done.

I haven't given up on my life. It is going to be so great being able to take back a part of my life after I have my right artificial hip revision surgery on November 26th 2025. There is a lot that is waiting for my attention. I still need knee surgery. But slow but steady progress will eventually get my chores caught up. Stopping work on my chores at natural inflection points makes continuing later easier. This has been the fundamental strategy I have used since beginning to experience chronic pain.
