Purchased VIA Rail Train Ticket For My Surgery

I now have the date for my right artificial hip being replaced. I just purchased a ticket for me to travel by train. VIA Rail Canada has invested in their online and app booking systems. If the travel is more than 48 hours away I can book one of the designated spaces for a wheelchair myself. Previously I was given the name and e-mail address of the VIA Rail Canada employee who did special bookings. She told me to book the train whenever I needed it and send her the booking number to convert to a wheelchair assisted booking. This is one more chore I have completed in preparation for my right artificial hip to be replaced.
