Intake Phone Call Interview For Cancer Clinic Appointment

I've just got off the phone with the cancer clinic. The phone call was a 15 minute intake assessment. A few of their questions were feeling me out for my situational awareness and cognitive skills. Once I could demonstrate this they asked me for my understanding of why I am coming to the cancer clinic. In response to this I said I needed to talk about my hip to explain where my knee fits into it. Then I explained the MRI suggesting bone marrow cancer investigation. She listened to me and made statements that I was understandable. It is obvious the nurse who called is able to grasp pain management challenges. She was gracious when I explained this. Also I told her I need to spell the name of mom's cancer. She was fine with this. I don't know how to pronounce it. They also asked me if I go by Ronald or Ron. I appreciated this a whole lot. Whatever happens during my March 3rd 2025 appointment it will be thorough.
