Submitted Application For New Family Doctor

The pharmacy I use for filling my prescription medication has had construction underway during the past 2 months. They are designating a section of the pharmacy for use as a family doctor office and a walk in clinic. As a trend pharmacies have been doing this during the past year or so. I am without a family doctor. The family doctor I resigned from was being obstinate towards me. This was toxic. I needed to move on. I wasn't being listened to. Referrals to surgeons didn't reflect the reality of what I was living with and as a result surgeons were refusing the referrals. Yet at the same time my physical disability was rapidly deteriorating.
While at the pharmacy they told me how to apply. I have just completed this. Preference is being given to the patients who use the pharmacy and are without a family doctor. A second doctor is also coming to the pharmacy. The second doctor will be running a walk in clinic. This means I won't need to go to the hospital with the long wait time unless there is a medical emergency.
Regardless of the timing of the family doctor I am welcome to use their walk in clinic. The first day for it is January 6th 2025. The first day for the family doctor is on January 26th 2025. Hopefully I get a phone call to arrange an initial appointment for this family doctor.
