Finished Taking Photos For My Annual Christmas Lights Video
[ Friday December 20th 2024 at 10:10 pm ]

I have just arrived home from what is my final photography session for 2024. I have been taking pictures of the display the city where I live has setup for Christmas. These photos are for the annual Christmas video I make for my youTube channel. I am hoping the video will be 15 minutes long. I have been very weak the following day after the other two times I took photos for this years Christmas Lights video. My artificial hip that is in hardware failure is really troublesome when I get jostled. It causes me to experience severe nausea. I doubt I will be able to do anything produce for the remainder of today and tomorrow. But at least I will still be able to make this years video.

I started doing this in 2015. This is the year when my second hip was replaced. I realized how much I missed this community aspect of Christmas while going through my left hip being replaced in 2013 and with my right hip 2015. As well I wasn't able to enjoy the extras in life for several years leading up to this. The arthritis pain was crippling me. I wanted to share this with people who didn't have this opportunity. I should be able to finish this off by Christmas. I have found working on this very hard this year. I am actually in worse shape than before my hips were replaced because of the artificial hip in hardware causing me so much pain. But I wanted to stick with this since the setback with my artificial hip is (relatively speaking) temporary. It brings me a lot of joy making this video each year.
