The orthopaedic clinic staff, nurses and doctors have been very kind to me while I have been at my medical appointments in 2024. I have really appreciated this. A smile goes a long way when the pain in my hip has been really bad. It has been very difficult to co-exist with the artificial hip that has failed inside of me. Today I have attended the pre-surgery screening clinic at the same hospital. Since my appointment has now finished I just took the 5 minutes to go to the orthopaedic clinic to deliver a Christmas card and express my thanks for the kindness I have experienced during my appointments and for all the effort that has gone into my medical treatment in 2024. I try to say thank you for the people who have gone out of their way to help me. Certainly the orthopaedic unit has done this for me this year.
