Helpful Visit With My Neighbor
[ Monday July 10th 2017 at 10:51 am ]

A neighbor stopped in to check on me. I decided to go with her as she walked her dogs. I had a chance to tell her the results of my recent MRI imaging of my knee joints and where I am at with wanting treatment.

I learned a lot as I went through my unsuccessful hip joint preservation surgeries between 2006 and 2009. I am not interested in engaging in a similar process with my knee joints. Additionally parts of my life have been on hold for the past 29 months. Providing the results of all the imaging isn't life threatening I need to take care of my life.

Otherwise I am getting the impression the health care community will loose track that I am person and be basing me on a serious of concerning reports. It would be different if I was suddenly having knee joint issues. This has been building for several years. In fact I had the first signs in my teen years around the same time I was experiencing the initial issues with my hip joints. I was told in June 2012 by a 91 year old orthopedic surgeon brought out of retirement to assess me my knee joints would fail because of the treatment method used on me in 1979 to 1981. I am able to manage the life style associated with a physical disability. Getting all my life where it should be and with my financial goals attained is more important than more treatment that is expected to be an uphill battle to attain in Ontario Canada. If I ignore this I am going to be facing serious financial distress in another 2 years.
