Suggestion For Accessibility Wheelchair Boating

I had such a wonderful time fishing that I made a suggestion to the city where I live: That they look into what it would cost to add a "self serve" lift - crane for transferring wheelchairs onto boats. About 20 minutes from where I live is a "sail-ability" program which is active during the Canadian summer months. I am wondering if the city where I live could install a similar a lift for transfering wheelchairs as this program uses. The accessibility committee has accepted my suggestion and researching what this involves. I've come to discover just how fortunate it is that I live here. The city I live in does a lot for people with disabilities. I am very fortunate to have made this my home town.
