My Dwarf Banana Plant Has Died

My dwarf banana plant didn't make it. I left an infected leaf on the plant because the green part of the leaf was needed for photosynthesis. The disease spread to the rest of the plant. This plant lasted 4 years. It has been a positive experience. I would like to buy another one.
I purchased this plant from my local Home Depot Canada. They don't have any in stock right now. None of the other local "big box" stores do. My best prospect is buying some seeds and having a go at growing one from seed. I had this setup in the hallway where I could see my dwarf banana plant in the tub. I looked at it while soaking my legs in really warm water. It is worth the continued effort to grow a new one.
