Purchased Replacement Smoke Detectors

Two of my smoke detectors need to be replaced. I have not had a good experience with the hard wiring model that is sealed and contains a lithium battery for when the power is out. I have had several nuisance alarms. I am beginning to think this has been the result of a the lithium battery being low. I am going back to the style that use a 9 volt battery during a power outage. I will add it onto my calendar to buy replacement 9 volt batteries every 6 months.
