Delivery Of SIM Card

The SIM card I ordered for my tablet has arrived. I am going to be using this with my tablet. I don't know much about cell phones. With the lifestyle my physical disability has created a cell phone hasn't been necessary to increase the enjoyment I experience in life. This evening when I play computer games with friends I will ask them to talk me through what I need to know about inserting this into my tablet and what I need to know about setting up an account with the prepaid provider.
In 2 weeks I am heading to Montreal for the night to spend some quality time with one of my closest friends. I will be taking the train to Montreal. The use of the SIM card is so I will need the ability to call my friend when I arrive in order to locate him within the train station.
