I have purchased (3) 2 story guinea pig cages. I am planning to modify these to become hamster cages. They will become my Hamster Village. I am planning to get a 3 Syrian hamsters spaced 8 months. This will keep 2 with me when the oldest passes away. The social worker at my family doctor office said the grief wouldn't be near as difficult with 2 hamsters remaining when the oldest passes away. I don't make a lot of noise. Part of of what Rocky and Mike brought to my home was the noise that the house is alive. I really enjoy cuddling with my hamster. It is also wonderful sharing their special moments with me online. I am starting to look forward to getting my next hamster. I am reaching out to a welding supply business to find out the cost of round ⅛" mild steel rods. My hope is to have cage #1 modified in 6 to 8 weeks. I am really looking forward to having another hamster here with me.
