Changed The Cartridges On My Drinking Water Filter

Today I wanted to do the next step in preparation for re-starting my drinking water filter. I have changed the 3 cartridges. One of these cartridges is designed for a 6 month service. This is the initial stage to remove sediment and silt from the water. The other 2 are designed for a 12 month service. These are significantly larger than a cartridge used in a Brita water filter used to filter a jug worth of water a time. The use of the 5 stage drinking water filter I own doesn't involve lifting the water. The weight of water used with a Brita water filter is too physically challenging and causes pain in my hips and knees.
