Using My Knitting Machine To Make A Scarf For A Friend

Over the past few days I've been using my knitting machine. This is the first time I've been able to use it for several years. This was on account of the severity of my physical disability. Everything isn't suddenly fine now. But if I pace myself and take breaks I am able to make something using it.
I am making a scarf for a friend. This friend has been very kind to me as it relates to the issues in my legs and the impact this is having on my life. It is a really wonderful friendship. I wanted to show my appreciation in a way that was more than words.
Doing this gives my right knee a few more days to recover from my recent right knee buckling event. It is also helping me effectively decompress from the physical marathon created by my knee buckling. Doing something creative helps me a lot when things haven't been going well.
Overall I am pleased. I appreciate my friends. This has been a good.
