Contributed To My Registered Disability Savings Plan

I make a monthly contribution to my Registered Disability Savings Plan. This is retirement savings for the severely disabled sponsored by the Federal Government of Canada. When I make contributions they are matched by Federal Government. There are 3 tiers where my money is matched: 3:1, 2:1 and 1:1. It is a very generous plan. This is how the Federal Government aims to help with the increased cost of living for those with a severe disability once the person is 65 years old. I have just made a one off "year end" contribution. What this does for me is helps to maximize the amount of money I am eligible to receive. I am trying my best to live each day. At the same time I am trying to plan for my future.
