My Furnace Is Repaired

My furnace hasn't been acting right since when it started turning on 2 weeks as the seasons changed. It seemed like the volume of air coming out was weak. I could also detect the smell electricity makes that is emblematic of an imminent failure. When I woke up Sunday morning at 6:30AM the house had begun cooling off and the furnace was no longer producing heat. I have an oil filled electric space heater as my backup plan for a furnace failure. This has worked well and kept me comfortable during the past two days. The service technician just finished working on my furnace. The blower motor died and needed replacing. The expense is covered by the warranty plan. The furnace is now working fine. I am pleased. The service technician in introverted. He clearly understands the technical aspects of maintenance. It took a total of 2 hours disassembling and then re-assembling my furnace. This included a 15 minute test to ensure it was working fine. He is young adult. He clearly knows what he is doing. It seems like he enjoyed his work and was glad to be here.
