Wood Is Put Up Covering The Dry Rot

My friend Joe has been here to assist me this afternoon. He has helped me put up a temporary piece of plywood to block the dry root in the foundation of my home. This isn't a permanent solution. This gives me time to focus on more pressing issues in my life. I need to be focused on getting my affairs in order to have another operation. It will stop rodents from getting into my home from the gap the dry rot created. This also blocks a cold air draft entering my basement and the risk of my water pipes freezing and bursting as a result during the winter months. My life has been upended over my knees. I am already task saturated with my current "to do" list. This will get my attention. But it will likely be summer 2024 when this happens.
