Ordered Long Handle Toe Nail Cutter
[ Friday September 1st 2023 at 1:02 pm ]

I am pleasantly surprised. After doing search during the past 24 hours I have found several different models of long handle toe nail cutters for the disabled, elderly, obese and those who are unable to bend. I have placed an order for the model I like the most. This has cost me nearly $100 CAD. I think this will serve me well. What I am seeing in the listing makes me think this is very well designed and should last. For example the toe nail clipper itself is able to be unscrewed and replaced when the blade becomes dull. This looks to be sturdy. My hopes are tied into this being the solution I am searching for.

For anyone looking to do this as a result of reading this blog entry I want to highlight 2 things. The first is that the model I have ordered comes in different lengths. The manufacturer has specified the height of the individual user so cutting the toe nails isn't troublesome and as easy as possible given the underlying reason why this was purchased. The second thing I am seeing is advice to soak the toe nails before cutting. This is to make the toe nails easier to cut.

My long handle toe nail cutting is scheduled to arrive mid September. Since my toe nails were cut yesterday I anticipate my first use being in mid October. I am going to let my toe nails grow out a bit for my first usage. I think this will make it easier for me as I get use to lining up my toe nails with this in order to cut them. I think I am going to ask someone who is able body to sit with me while I use this for the first time.
