Adjusting My Electric Water Heater Timer

For at least 4 years during the 2010 to 2020 I did not receive a cost of living increase for my cost of housing. Cost of living was only ever so slightly better but didn't reflect what Stats Canada determined for the year. One of the strategies I used to keep me living within my budget was for a timer on my electric water heater. This limited the electricity my water heater had access to. The upshot is that it reduced my electricity bill. The side effect of this meant that I run out of hot water and have to wait until the next cycle to run. One of the disability pensions I receive is now indexed to the cost of inflation. I have been able to allow my electric water heater increased access to electricity. I have just adjusted the timer. It is a good day that I was able to do this.
