Ordered VESA Mount For My Mini Form Computer
[ Friday April 28th 2023 at 2:11 am ]

I recently purchased a Lenovo M93P. It is tiny desktop computer. Now that it arrived and the 1TB SSD drive my friend gifted me I am thinking more about the physical setup.

An advantage of this type of computer is that it is (physically speaking) small and able to be mounted onto the back of a computer screen. Originally VESA mounts were designed for a monitor to be mounted onto an arm. This gave the ability to tilt and position the screen to improve the viewing angle. There is a bracket made by Lenovo to mount the computer to the back of the screen. I have ordered one that was previously used.

I am pleased. I am aiming to get the laser engraver going this summer. This has been a long time coming. I've had a lot of distractions and so many things demanding my attention. I also paused working on the laser engraver setup during my aunts cancer treatment. While my aunt was going through her chemotherapy treatments it was very important to me that I spend quality time with her. I don't regret this. However as I've been attending the grief support group I've been figuring out what my "to do" list should be and getting back to my own goals. I am trying my best to move forward with this.
