Progress With The Hot Water Repairs

My friend Brandon has been very kind to me. He was to my home again today to help me. The hot water pipe that burst a few weeks ago is now repaired. This is a huge relief. The way my home is laid out meant that a shut off valve was able to be used and allowed hot water to be available in the bathroom and washing machine during the past few weeks. The worst that happened was needing to wash my hands with cold water while in my kitchen. In the scheme of things this isn't too bad. Also I didn't find seeing the plumbing broken difficult. I understand how plumbing is fixed. I haven't been anxious about this. This is simply part of owning a home. This is one less thing on my mind. What remains is finishing addressing the insulation and draft that caused the pipe to burst initially. Then put up a piece of drywall and get the kitchen back to normal. All in a lifetime.
