Prepared My Breakfast Oatmeal For The Next 3 To 4 Months
[ Monday February 27th 2023 at 6:41 pm ]

I am trying to figure out how to help myself. I want to make my life easier to finish off the remaining tasks with my sump pump setup and then complete the black out curtain sewing so I am sleeping better at night. My activity today was preparing breakfast oatmeal loaves that I will consume over the next four months. This time I used a four berry mixture: Blueberry, Blackberry, Strawberry and Raspberry.

The idea is that I wake up and eat my breakfast. This means the effort involved in cooking the oatmeal and clean up after myself is taken care. This means I am saving the use of my legs for resuming working on my projects. Otherwise the effort to prepare my breakfast uses up some of my leg use for the day and I don't get as much done on my projects. I want to be able to maximize the time I am spending on my projects and not the mundane tasks of life.

There aren't that many more dishes to clean up when making my breakfast oatmeal compared to doing four months worth. I have the space in my freezer to store this. Cooking my meals in bulk and freezing them has been a strategy that I've used for several years to better manage my physical disability and chronic pain. I see this as a way of helping myself. This also gives me more satisfaction in life. I'd rather be working on my projects compared to simply keeping myself alive. I don't want to waste my life. I am pleased this is done. Tomorrow I will cut these up into individual servings and freeze them.
