I Flew My Drone For The First Time Since My Aunt Died In July 2021
[ Monday August 1st 2022 at 8:02 pm ]

I am just starting to fly the drone again after not flying for 12 months following my aunt's death. At some point I had to do this. I am really glad I did. I've just had so much to take care of. Flying the drone never quite made it to the top of my "to do" list.

My flights were not long. I had to do emergency landings due to low battery power during both flights. But this is a start. I will see how this grows in the coming months.

In 2021 I spent as much time as possible supporting my aunt as her cancer progressed. Anything that wasn't urgent I paused because she was the priority in my life. Then during the remainder of the year my life was essentially on auto pilot as I tried to get my life back on track.

I am just starting to feel like I am getting a grasp on my life again. I've had to very carefully pick what I spend my time doing. Slow and steady is making a difference. I need to have some fun. I do enjoy piloting the drone.
