Approval For The 'Ontario Disability Support Program' Property Tax Credit

The city where I live sent me a letter. I've been approved for the 2017 Ontario Disability Support Program property tax credit. This year it is for $350. I am very fortunate to receive this. There are only a few cities across Ontario who offer this program. My home is modest. This represents about 1/5 of my total property tax bill for the year. I budget money each month towards my property tax payments. I have to start in May of each year for the following year so I have the money for the February and April installments of next years property taxes. I am very thankful for the skill my dad taught me as a child in budgeting and managing my money.
