Faxed Letter To Knee Surgeon I Am Waiting To See
[ Sunday June 19th 2022 at 11:01 am ]

I'm having a really hard time with my right knee. Most recently my knee cap dislocated on June 15th and again on June 18th. It nearly crippled me. The length of my stride was reduced to about 3 inches. It is crippling me. I've lived through the demise of both my hip joints. I know what I am and am not capable of. I am not going to be able to keep myself alive indefinitely. During my medical assessment on May 5th the doctor did a referral back to an orthopaedic surgeon. I haven't had an appointment notice yet. I wrote and faxed a letter explaining that I need to be seen as soon as practical. Covid is still very active in the area where I live. I expect the orthopaedic clinic is being careful. I've had to speak up for myself and try to explain why I am asking for help. I am willing to admit when I am up against my limits. I honestly don't know what else to do. I don't say any of this out of panic. Simply put I can tell that my life is winding down like what I endured with my hip joints.
