Inquired About The Pricing Of Tempered Glass For My Laser Engraver Vent Hood

I spent time this afternoon talking to my friend about my laser engraver vent hood. He has thought further ahead than I have. He was thinking about the practical part of being able to put in and remove wood from the laser engraver while using my power wheelchair. This is to give me the best chance of being successful. I feel hopeful about this. Although it is quite the process to have to trust.
After this we moved onto the topic of enclosing the vent hood. The practical answers seem to be between using acrylic or tempered glass. Tempered glass is going to cost much more than I had expected. I talked to an installer for a few minutes while at this business. His key question to me is if this is permanent or a prototype. This is a really good question. Between my friend raising questions about being able to use the laser engraver from my power wheelchair and this question from the glass business I think the best is to that I use acrylic and see how it goes.
