Began Sanding The Laser Engraver Vent Hood
[ Sunday May 29th 2022 at 12:13 pm ]

I have started sanding my laser engraver vent hood. I am really pleased with progress.

I figure I am about 30% done. The sanding drained my two DeWalt batteries. They each lasted about 20 minutes. I now have them on the battery charger.

I am able to do while using my power wheelchair. I am not feeling pain in my hips. I've applied local anaesthetic to my knee joints to prevent feeling pain. So far this has been successful.

The batteries will require about 2 hours to charge. I physically require more rest. I am thinking to have another sanding session late afternoon or early evening. Then I will hopefully finish the sanding tomorrow.

This is all to say the progress with my laser engraver vent hood is coming along at a decent pace considering my physical disability. I am very hopeful that the money this will generate will help improve my quality of life.

However I wouldn't be taking on this project without the need for cash. This is to cover expenses related to living with a physical disability and best managing the skill set I am good at.
