Feels Like My Right Knee Is Loosing Lateral Stability

My right knee cap has dislocated twice in recent weeks. I am experiencing new pain sensations in my right knee joint. This morning I am observing what is lateral instability in my right knee joint. The knee joint itself isn't staying firmly in place. My right knee is not staying in alignment with the leg. With the increased swelling following the two knee cap dislocation incidents I am inclined to believe the meniscus tear has increased. I am wondering if my right knee joint is simply destroying itself. I am okay with it wrecking itself. Clearly it isn't okay and hasn't been okay for several years. If this is the knee joint wearing out and it needs replacing I am okay with this. I've been forced into finding creating solutions for at least the past 7 years to compensate. The knee joint has been in progressive decline. If it is worn out then so be it.
