Ordered A 4.3 Cubic Foot Mini Refrigerator To Tie Me Over

With my refrigerator broken I've been thinking about how I will deal with the next bulk meal preparation. It is going to be at least 4 weeks for the replacement refrigerator to arrive. A friend loaned me his mini refrigerator. They take it camping using campsites that provide electricity. It holds approximately 2 cubic feet of food. This isn't going to be enough to keep me going for at least 4 weeks and possible 12 weeks. I've decided to order a 4.3 cubic foot refrigerator to help keep me going in the short term. Then in the long term this will serve as a refrigerator in my shed once it is renovated for year round use. I believe this is practical and not a waste of money.

I did look for options of a used refrigerator. Only 3 exist in the city where I live. They are old and likely a money pit. I did think about simply using a cooler on my porch. This won't protect vegetables from freezing. I think the use of two mini refrigerators to get me through this are the lesser of all evils. This is a bit of a setback and having to immediately address this. On the other hand with my friend stepping up it has been manageable. I try very hard to help myself. I haven't lost hope. I do physically need rest from the broken sleep pain has been causing me. Having had time to think even with the "speed bumps" of the past two weeks I believe my life is going the right direction.
