Borrowed A Mini Refrigerator Until I Get A Replacement Refrigerator

I've been looking at various refrigerators and seeing just how back logged things have become because of the coronavirus. I messaged a friend to see if he'd pick up a mini refrigerator if I paid for this online. His reply surprised me: His family owns a mini refrigerator they take with them to the cottage. He's willing to loan me this for the few weeks it takes to get a replacement.
Then if I still need to buy a mini refrigerator he's happy to pick it up. As I clean out the worn out refrigerator I will think through the items that I need to keep in the refrigerator for the next few weeks. If I don't have enough space than the decision is made for me to buy a mini refrigerator. At least with this borrowed model the process of bringing stability for my meals is getting re-established.
I am not too concerned that this happened. Refrigerators wear out. It was my time. I would be much more concerned if I was married or had medications that required refrigeration. But I've managed okay to get a loaned mini refrigerator situated as a stop gap measure.
