One of my friends just stopped by on his way home from work. He dropped off sand for me to use with the creation of my green screen stand. I am using sand to weigh down the base. This is to prevent it from being top heavy and how to avoid it from tipping over. With the state of my hips and knees it would be very difficult for me to pick this up off the floor. This is the "ounce of prevention" mindset. I am making my green screen stand out of 1 inch conduit. Since I am using conduit to make my green screen stand I can simply fill the conduit with sand to weigh down the base.
