Garden Hose Check

I had a burst water pipe in January. I hired a contractor to do the repair. About 10 minutes after the contractor left the garden hose started flowing. I didn't know if it was another burst or if the garden hose tap had been left on. One of my friends stopped by on his way home from work. The water comes on. There is no obvious sign of water going everywhere. The garden hose is fine and was simply opened all the way and it just happened that the garden hose unthawed shortly after the contractor left. I am glad this has been checked into. It is one less thing for me to keep mental track of.
