Changed Rocky The Hamster's Shavings

Rocky the hamster lives in a large fish tank. As a strategy to better manage my physical disability I was told to give him lots of shavings. In turn this would mean they only need changing every 3rd week. I just changed Rocky's shavings. I had a little cuddle with him before changing his shavings. My previous hamster, Mike, initially found it hard when I changed his shavings because of taking away his pantry. But over time Mike grew to trust me. Rocky isn't displaying any anxiety about this. I try to leave a similar setup as Rocky made for himself to carry on. I enjoy his presence.
