Submitted Drawings To Metal Fabricating Shop To Mount Rocky The Hamster Cam

The Rocky The Hamster cam I ordered has arrived. In fact it is nearly a week ahead of the scheduled delivery. The practical part now is getting this camera in service. I've been thinking about how to do this. I now have a plan. The tripod I've been using to film my youTube videos has broke. I found that I could order a new one that is already in Canada for $20. This has made the decision about how to mount the hamster cam easy. I am going to use the broken tripod. Then I could use the hamster cam as a second view in some of my DYI videos. I've just done the engineering drawing for a mounting bracket. I have e-mailed this to a local metal fabricating shop that has done "one off" pieces for me in the past to see if they would be willing to make up the mounting bracket for me. I expect I'll hear back next week. This camera will work really well to film Rocky. It has color night vision capabilities. I am really pleased to see this coming along. There are people who watch my videos who love Rocky. Rocky brings me so much joy. It is great to be able to share him and help how seeing an animal helps bring people in what are adverse circumstances.
