Ordered A Biscuit Joiner For Making Picture Frames For My Laser Engraver

I am hoping to get my laser engraver up and running in about 6 weeks. Getting it up and going has made it's way back onto my "to do" list. I am needing to raise about $8,000 in 2022 in order to get a stair lift installed in my home. I need to be able to use the upstairs of my home in my day to day life. The most immediate need is for the tub. My family doctor office wants me using the tub for really warm soaks. They'd actually like me to add jets to the tub to increase the effectiveness of the tub. With the way my knees are acting I don't see how I am going to be able to physically make it to the tub for the occasional soak by the end of 2022. I think my laser engraver will be a necessary component in generating the funds that will allow this to happen.

I am starting to think about the last few steps needed to make the laser engraver up and running. What makes the most sense to me is making frames to go with each piece the laser engraver makes. I've looked over the possible ways to join frame corners. Using biscuit joinery makes the most sense to me. I have watched videos on how to do this. I think it will be something I can accomplish. I talked this over with one of my friends last night. I've ordered an entry level biscuit joiner and size #0 biscuits to get me started. It should be here by the time the laser engraver is at the top of my "to do" list. I really hope this works out. I am unsure of what else I could try while still being able to take care of the issues in my legs.
