Medical Clinic Anticipates Being Available During The New Covid Wave

Covid is just going wild here in Ontario. The most densely infect city in Canada is where my specialized medical treatment is occurring. I reached out to the patient relations personal to ask if they will continue to offer in person medical treatment in light of the latest development. They are planning to do so barring the unexpected. This is really good news.

Earlier this week I had a medical appointment with my local family doctor office. I've had more setbacks with my right knee joint. With my recent medical treatment and the uniqueness of the procedure they are unable to offer medical advice and advised me the attending doctor at the medical clinic where my regenerative medicine treatment was performed remains responsible for my knee. I am urged to be seen as soon as practical.

There are two instances I am very concerned about:

  • I went to refill my water bottle Tuesday evening. The short walk to the kitchen caused very violent throbbing in both of my knee joints. They were throbbing 2 - 3 times per second. It was horrible. I couldn't control or stop it. I've been feeling the arthritis worsening in my right knee joint since the regenerative medicine treatment. My knees aren't useful in this state.
  • After arriving home from taking Christmas light photos and downloading them to my computer I went to turn off the camera. My right knee joint gave out while I was taking a step. The sole reason I didn't fall was because I rapidly contracted the quad and calf muscles to freeze my leg in position. Doing this jarred my knee pretty bad. On the other hand falling would have been worse. I've recently passed the muscle strength test. What's remains is the probable cause is worsening osteoarthritis. I am rather concerned. I just don't know what to do. I am trying to help myself and not further injure myself.

If either are to continue I am going to have to have to increase my use of the power wheelchair. Fundamentally this is transforming into how I will need to keep myself alive. I am encouraged to weight bare 30 minutes a day so the bone supporting my artificial hips will keep the hardware seated. This is becoming impractical. I am beginning to have to think about what this is doing to the rest of my life and my attempt to have some semblance of a life.
