Help Trimming Branches From Rubbing On House Roof And Grading Backyard
[ Sunday October 24th 2021 at 4:20 pm ]

One of my good friends spent about 2½ hours helping me this afternoon. There were about a dozen branches that needed trimming. These were rubbing on my roof with the growth from this summer. I wanted to protect my shingles from degrading. The rest of the time was spent grading my back yard. This is left over from my yard drainage project. The snow came in November last year and prevented this from happening. We are trying to smooth out my back yard so melting snow will find it's way to my French drain. This will prevent my backyard, basement and shed from flooding. This also prevents the melting snow water from flooding my neighbours. The problem appeared when the two houses touching my backyard were torn down and their yards graded. I've been through enough serious issues with my physical disability that I wasn't interested in complaining and simply wanted to address the flooding my neighbours and I were experiencing.
