Installed New Sump Pump

About two weeks ago my sump pump was jammed on. I didn't quickly identify this. This allowed the seals to over heat. The sump had to be replaced.
I just disconnected the sump pump and connected the replacement. The style of check valve I use is rubberized. This acts as a quick release. Changing the sump pump is a matter of loosening a gear clamp. I did this intentionally to allow future maintenance to be easy. This was certainly worth while planning that has come through for me today.
Due to my physical disability I've subdivided the installation. I am going to wait until tomorrow to set the float. (The float is what triggers the sump pump to turn on and off automatically.) I will complete this tomorrow. I am just trying to be easy on my body. I am trying to keep the upper hand on my pain control.
